About Liam
Hi there! Im a medical student in my second last year studying (currently in Bundaberg QLD) and with a BMedSci (hons) from ANU. I really enjoy teaching any form of science and providing a thorough and systematic approach to science. I’m most confident with Biology but have done university chemistry, ethics and public health study as well. I’ve taught students mostly health related concepts from early primary school (via a UQ health outreach project, teddy bear hospital), through to university level through university mentorship programmes. I’ve taught in both 1on1 format and classroom format, both in Australia and overseas in PNG and Nepal. I’d love to share some of my knowledge and interest in science, and look forward to hearing from you!

My teaching method is systematic and based on a good grasp of concepts so that the student can apply them in many situations. I will base this on the curriculum of the students class/course, go through the relevant cocept until they’re understood and then test them in multiple situations. I have access to a large amount of resources and have a wealth of my own material I have built up through the years. This will allow me to provide a plan of study and supporting materials to both go through with the students and for them to have in the lead up to assessments.
