About Keyuan
Hello! I’m a native Chinese speaker currently pursuing my Master’s degree at the University of Melbourne. I have a strong passion for language education and cross-cultural communication. I aim to help students from diverse backgrounds discover the beauty of the Chinese language and culture through engaging, clear, and supportive lessons. My classes focus on practicality, encouragement, and interaction, allowing you to build confidence and make real progress in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in TESOL at the University of Melbourne and am a native Chinese speaker. Based in Melbourne, I offer Mandarin lessons both online and in person, focusing on vocabulary building, accurate pronunciation, and practical daily conversation.
My teaching approach emphasizes practicality and interaction, with a strong focus on student output and speaking confidence. I use real-life scenarios, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation correction, pinyin support, and everyday topics to help learners improve their listening and speaking skills. Each lesson is personalized based on the learner’s goals and language level.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for:
• Beginners or intermediate Mandarin learners
• Teenagers and adults who want to improve everyday communication
• People preparing to travel, study, or work in China, or anyone interested in Chinese culture
