About Joshua
I am a second year aeronautical engineering student studying at Imperial College London. I achieved 4 A*s at A level in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. I am currently on track to achieve a first in my degree. I have done private tutoring before: I once taught a student the entirety of first year A level physics over 6 weeks. This student went on to achieve an A in their A level physics exam.

My teaching method typically involves presenting a concept, going through a worked example and showing where this concept can be used. I feel that this works well as one of the key complaints I hear from students is that they don't see why they need to know something that seems abstract (such as the quadratic formula). If I am in a one to one session, I would further expand on this method by providing multiple different ways of understanding a concept if the student was struggling.
