About Vaibhav

Hello! I'm a Computer Science graduate with a Master's degree specialising in AI and Machine Learning, and I've worked as a software engineer at Meta and other technology companies. My background has taught me the value of clear thinking, strong foundations, and approaching difficult problems one step at a time.

Teaching has always been close to my heart. My grandfather was a teacher, and my mother also spent part of her life teaching, so I've grown up appreciating the difference a good teacher can make. I enjoy explaining ideas, being patient, and finding simple ways to make challenging topics easier to understand.

For students, my aim is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help you understand the why behind what you're learning, rather than simply memorising facts for an exam. For parents, I want to offer reassurance that your child will be treated with patience, kindness, and encouragement, with lessons adapted to their individual needs and pace.

Whether you're working towards your GCSEs or A-Levels, strengthening your foundations, or aiming for the highest grades, I'd love to help you reach your potential. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student go from “I don't understand this” to “Oh, now it makes sense!”

My teaching style is gentle, patient, and compassionate. I believe anyone can master a difficult subject when the fundamentals are explained clearly and without pressure. My philosophy is simple: understand, don't memorise! I dislike learning things by rote, so I focus on building strong foundations and deriving complex concepts logically from first principles. Rather than simply teaching formulae or procedures, I help students understand why things work, making it easier to solve unfamiliar problems independently.

I teach GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science, adapting each lesson to the student's pace, strengths, and learning needs. Whether you're struggling with the basics, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades, my goal is to make learning intuitive, build your confidence, and help you genuinely enjoy understanding how things work.
