About Shiva Priya
I am a doctor who has been trained in violin for 10 years and have been playing for 45 years! I am passionate about music and teaching music. I play and teach Carnatic classical violin. I was trained in Kolkata at Guru Guha Gaana Vidyalaya by Late. Shri. A Anantaraman.

It is very important to adhere to a certain order when teaching violin. I will be structuring my classes in the following order:
1) Bowing technique
2) Finger technique
3) Basic initial lessons of Carnatic music
4) Progressing to Kritis of Thyagaraja and Muthuswamy Dikshithar.
