About Leandro
I have been helping students to reach their goal and improve their scores since I was an assistant professor at University of Havana in Cuba. When I came to Canada in 2018 to complete my Master degree in Economics, following my passion for teaching and tutoring I worked as teaching assistant at the University of Manitoba in 2018 and part time tutor for the Academic Learning Center. After moving to Vancouver and working as a Financial Advisor for RBC, I have continued tutoring through different online platforms such as Varsity tutors or Tuter.

More than 5 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from different levels. My tutoring approach starts by reviewing the course outline and make a plan to cover full content within scheduled appointments. During my tutoring lessons I like combining theory with practical real life exercises to make sure students understand and know how to apply what has been taught. I can teach Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics and Statistics for undergraduate and graduate students.
