About Maggie
Hi there! My name is Maggie Painter. I am an energetic and goals-oriented science educator, that has worked both in classroom settings, and leading experiential/outdoor learning experiences for middle and high school students. Along with being a teacher, I am an avid backpacker and trail runner, and am eager to get outside whenever I can. I am 28 years old, live in Boston with my best friend and her cat, and am excited to meet you and help you toward your tutoring goals!

I am an experienced science educator, and have worked for five years with middle and high school students. In our first few sessions I will get to know you and how you like to learn, what goals you have for tutoring, and how we can make a plan together to work towards those goals.
I have the most experience teaching 7th and 8th grade general science and math, but also have experience tutoring science and economics at the college level.
