About Alex
I'm a remote freelance consultant and I mostly would like to tutor in order to help out students with difficulties. STEM topics are interesting and although may be tricky, I think one of the best feelings a student can have is when they figure out the answer to a hard question.
I have been tutoring since I was in third grade, sometimes pro-bono, sometimes for money. I was a teaching assistant in a mathematical modeling course in my undergraduate course and always would look to share what I know, if possible.

I like to use examples and analogies. I find it easier for someone to retain the information this way.
I usually do some theory, then i focus on casr studies and particularlities of a topic, before going into a short discussion on the topic for the last part of the session. In case of need, I also have a few questions at the beginning of the session to see if the student needs more time on the subject, or I can move forward with the lessons.

We can discuss if an in person session is available. The transportation costs will be added to the rate, as well as an extra amount of 10% of the online rate, per 10min of travel to the address.
