About Daniel
Hi, I’m Daniel. I am an MIT graduate in Civil Engineering and Theater Arts with an MFA from Yale, and I tutor Physics, Calculus, and Pre-Calculus for high school and college students.
My teaching style focuses on building confidence and true understanding, not memorization. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and help students develop problem-solving skills they can apply independently.

My tutoring approach focuses on building understanding and confidence, not just memorization. I break down complex Physics, Calculus, and Pre-Calculus concepts into clear, intuitive steps and help students develop problem-solving skills they can apply independently.
A typical lesson starts by identifying challenges from classwork, homework, or exams. We then work through examples together, focusing on both how and why concepts work, followed by guided practice to reinforce understanding.
What sets me apart is my strong technical background and practical approach to problem-solving. As an MIT graduate in Civil Engineering and Theater Arts, I bring both analytical rigor and clear communication to every lesson.
