About Benjamin
As a native French speaker and MIT graduate, I am passionate about sharing my language and culture with students of all levels. My journey in education began during my uni years, where I discovered my love for teaching while helping fellow students master complex subjects. I believe in making French learning both challenging and engaging, using a combination of traditional teaching methods and real-world scenarios. Having spent significant time in both France and the United States, including raising my own bilingual family, I understand the challenges and nuances of learning French from an American perspective.

I believe in making French learning both challenging and engaging, using a combination of traditional teaching methods and real-world scenarios.
My teaching methodology draws from my dual cultural experience (French and American), combining rigorous academic foundations with practical, real-world applications. I specialize in helping students develop not just language skills, but also cultural competency and confidence in their French abilities. I take pride in my patient, empathetic approach, ensuring that every student feels supported and challenged appropriately in their learning journey.
I particularly enjoy working with committed students who are eager to achieve fluency and cultural understanding, whether for academic, professional, or personal growth. Throughout my 15+ years of experience, I've developed expertise in areas including accent reduction, pronunciation, DELF/DALF exam preparation, and business French communication.
Whether working with high school students preparing for AP French exams, college students mastering academic French, or professionals needing business French skills, I create personalized learning plans that align with each student's goals.
