About John
I am a native English undergraduate student studying French, Russian and Translation studies. I am currently in my third year of studies. I obtained the highest grade for both French translation and English to Russian translation.

7x A (Including French and English)

I am warm, friendly and have a great knowledge of French grammar and its complexities.
I would work closely with tutees to identify any underlying problems and help, otherwise provide answers to questions and opportunity for French conversational practice.
I will be studying in Paris and St Petersburg from September 2018 - July 2019.
I am willing to tutor and provide conversational practice up to A-level.
Exam preparation and homework help may also be provided.

Having learnt French for over 10 years and having learnt four other languages to at least conversational levels, I feel I am well versed in the methodology and practices for teaching languages.
Firstly, I would work closely with tutees to identify any underlying problems, this could be through either mock exam questions (and assessments on pros and weaknesses) or by asking the tutee if they have come across any complexities or problems that they feel could use additional support and time to go through.
Otherwise, I would look into the teaching specification for the tutee's respected exam board, highlighting all the required skills and ensuring the student has a good knowledge in all aspects.
Having an abundance of learning material available, I would be able to provide exercises, vocabulary and grammar explanations for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
I would also be able to provide any answers to questions about french culture and daily living, and provide opportunity for French conversational practice.
Exam preparation and homework help would also be provided.
