About Marta
I'm a (nearly finished!) Modern Languages teacher trainee at LJMU who offers Spanish and French lessons to students of all ages and levels. I graduated last July with a BA in French and English Language and I have taught in primary schools in Paris during my year abroad. I am a Spanish native speaker therefore I am aware first hand of potential pitfalls and difficult areas of of language learning that students may fall into, and my own experiences of language learning mean I have the skills of surpassing these obstacles, which I can pass onto my students. Currently I work at a Secondary School teaching both SK3 and SK4 and have previously worked with younger students and also adults.

I have been teaching languages for over 6 years now to a range of ages and abilities. I have worked with various language companies teaching younger students (from 1-8 years old) in a variety of ways - such as games, stories and songs. I have also worked in France in primary schools delivering English lessons and in a language and pedagogy company creating content for schools. Currently I am finishing my teacher training year and are soon to start a job at a secondary school teacher students from KS3 and KS4. During COVID I also taught Spanish and French to adults, more grammar focused for some and just conversation for others. When COVID hit I started working for a languages company delivering Spanish and French lessons to children online, using ZOOM. This APP is extremely familiar to me as I have used it for over 2 years now and have managed to plan lessons that even though are online, can feel as natural as if they were in person.
