About Maryam
"Teaching piano offers a way to demystify complex musical concepts for students who want to play with real expression. 219 students have developed their skills under my guidance since I finished my Diploma of Music Industry.
I focus on rhythm and timing alongside deep music theory to make sure you understand the architecture of a piece. Whether you need help with pedaling technique or pop and contemporary styles, I provide the tools to navigate your repertoire.
My background in songwriting makes me a particularly effective instructor for those who want to master chord voicing and dynamics. I work with people who need to manage grade exam prep or simply want to improve their sight reading. Developing classical repertoire requires patience, and I am here to guide you through the process as you build your own musical voice."

"Enjoyment comes from realizing that you do not need to be perfect to play something moving. Often the most expressive playing happens when you stop obsessing over the sheet music and start feeling the pulse of the chords. My 3 years of experience mean I can explain tricky concepts in simple terms that click immediately. We look at dynamics and expression to turn a basic melody into a performance that reaches an audience.
Since I teach with a 7.0 score on my performance metrics, you can expect clear communication and high standards. I keep things practical because I know that seeing progress on your favorite songs is what keeps you practicing. My goal is to ensure you feel confident whenever you sit down at the keys.
