About Juan David
I am currently studying at the University of Montreal in a BaSc of biochemistry with a specialization in molecular medicine. I’ve been giving help to my many friends over the past 4 years in their cegep classes and a little in Uni. I have done private tutoring for about two years in chemistry, physics, math, philosophy, English and French. I am currently working as chief supervisor at a pharmacy so I have great communication skills and logical ability.

Most people say my way of teaching pleases them because I explain things in a way that is the most easy to retain as I make a lot of links between the subjects/content and everyday life too. But I can also adapt a way of teaching similar to your teachers to keep you in the same mold they expect but with further help. I like to offer multiple teaching techniques as people are different. The most common ones are “do one, see one, do one” in which instead of trying to adopt the method you’re supposed to take you first get to experience and assert your own thinking, then I explain the actual process and after you can link the too to deepen comprehension. The other one is “see one, do one, teach one” in which you get the information, apply it and then teach it to force the information to organize in your brain to be able to communicate it and teach it to someone else. The last one is more of a curious approach in which we build up to the teaching part by talking about the material and questioning it beforehand to build up interest and curiosity and bind those thoughts and momentum to the teaching for better information retention.

My name is Juan Miguel and proud to offer my recommendation of Juan David.
During my tutoring with Juan David I have experienced an individual who works hard, and carries themselves in a polite, respectable manner. In addition, he is exceptionally gifted at making students feel comfortable and always maintaining a positive atmosphere. It is without reservation that I recommend himHighly recommend this tutor as he took the time and effort to break down complicated solutions and with patience explained them in the most simplest way. Would definitely recommend if taking chemistry or biology classes! With his help I aced classes!
Juan makes sure I understand the subject before leaving our appointment, I really appreciate that!
Best tutor ever. He has helped me ace all of my physics and chemistry exams. His explanations are very clear and complete. He’s also very patient and passionate about teaching. He never gets tired of repeating and explaining something over again.
