About Shruthi
I am a student currently doing my masters in biotechnology at Monash university here in Melbourne. I have done my BSc. Biotechnology, biochemistry and genetics. I have worked in a research lab during my bachelor's and a major part of that included teaching of basic biology concepts to junior and sub-junior research candidates.

My teaching strategy is to make the student understand the concept clearly, and then move on to the application aspect. I try my best to make the student apply concepts learnt on their own, but if not, I make sure that I don't discourage them I try to engage them by using examples which they can relate to so that learning becomes easier. My motto is to make the subject fun, only then it will be properly educational.
