About Marina
I have a BA with the top grade in European Languages & cultures, and experience tutoring students at all levels. Some of my students who have moved to Italy started from absolute beginners to feeling confident in having a conversation in Italian; others have improved their grades at university - all they needed was someone to practise with to build confidence.

Italian
I plan my teaching entirely around students' needs. I have put together handouts to accommodate students' requests but I have also worked on resources provided by the student and expanded on them.
I believe that to build a good language knowledge it is necessary to start from the basics so I tend to include grammar notions which students might have forgotten (never learnt) in my lessons and then consolidate those through their practical use.
