About Emily
I am qualified up to a Master of Research (MRes) degree in History. My dissertation was on 'M*A*S*H and the Vietnam War', an analysis of television in relation to the Vietnam War. This also involved researching other Cold War conflicts, including the Korean War. While working at Toranj Tuition, I have delivered tuition in both British History and Citizenship (the latter designed for students sitting the Life in the U.K. exam).

I try to personalise my lessons as much as possible, taking into consideration the learning preferences of my students (e.g. auditory, kinesthetic) before developing a syllabus for our course. Students of all levels are welcome. I will arrange an induction session which gives my students an opportunity to inform me of their circumstances (e.g. why they are learning, what areas they want to focus on).
