Hi, I'm Luc, a part-time Economics tutor and Economic Adviser to the UK Government, with experience advising on both macroeconomic and international trade policy.
I bring an enthusiastic and fun approach to tutoring that combines my academic and practical experience, tailoring each session to the individual student and bringing concepts to life with real-world insights from my experiences in economic policy making.
I've always enjoyed learning and have a strong academic background, including first-class Economics degrees from leading institutions at both master's and undergraduate level, as well as top grades at GCSE (9A*s/2As) and A-level (A*s in Economics and Maths and an A in Spanish).
I bring a unique approach to teaching that is tailored to each student. I start with a consultation to understand the student's learning objectives, as well as their strengths and weakness, to devise a tailored learning plan.
My approach to each lesson is based on my belief that learning is best achieved when theory meets practicality. My lessons involve interactive discussions about theory but are grounded in real-world examples and case studies to allow students to fully get to grips with the theoretical concepts.
