About Charis
After studying Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Art and Design at A Level, I decided to continue my studies at the University of St Andrews to complete a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics in 2021. During this time, I had the opportunity to expand my interest in topics surrounding applied maths and physics. Since then, my enthusiasm for problem solving led me to continue my studies at St Andrews in the form of an MSc in Computer Science in 2022, with an emphasis on Machine Learning and AI.
I am extremely enthusiastic to share the knowledge and skills developed during my studies to those who are currently studying or revising for GCSE or A Level Physics.

With experience tutoring at GCSE and A Level, my teaching ethos relies on the principle of building a student's confidence in their existing skills, whilst providing support in areas where the material may not be fully understood. This general format encourages independent problem solving and a more developed understanding of the fundamentals of a topic: an asset in the context of an exam.
More generally, I aim to accommodate each student's individual needs, approaching each lesson with patience and a passion for the subject being taught.
