Hello, students and learners!
I’m Jill, and I’m passionate about education and helping you achieve your academic goals. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of guiding students from various age groups and backgrounds to excel in their studies.
I have always had a genuine passion for teaching - from helping out and tutoring friends during my time in university, to tutoring and mentoring students at their homes and in libraries, I enjoy helping others learn and succeed in their academic pursuits.

Education is a journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. Whether you’re struggling with a specific subject, preparing for exams or aiming for academic excellence, I tailor my approach to meet your unique learning style and needs!
My tutoring ethos revolves around providing a positive and supportive learning environment. My nickname is ‘Jolly Jill’ by friends and I always try to uplift my students whilst tutoring. I strive to make each session engaging, interactive and enjoyable!

- Science (Biology only - to GCSE level)
- Maths (to GCSE level)
Teaching approach:
The typical length of a lesson is for about 1.5 hours. I use a student-centred approach, where I adapt my teaching methods to match your pace and comprehension. We will first identify your objectives and set out achievable goals to work towards. I encourage questions and discussions to ensure a deep understanding of the concepts. My goal is to equip you with problem-solving skills, critical thinking and a love for learning that extends BEYOND the classroom!
