About Olivia
I am an experienced Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching and an MSc in Astrophysics. My passion goes beyond equations — I love exploring the history of physics and the groundbreaking experiments that shaped our understanding of the universe. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in Physics while preparing students for success in the AP Physics exam. I cover key subjects including mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity & magnetism, waves, and modern physics. Lessons combine concept review, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies tailored to each student’s needs. I use targeted drills and practice tests to help students master difficult topics and improve speed and accuracy. Mathematics plays a key role in understanding Physics, so I integrate mathematical problem-solving into every session. This ensures concepts are not only memorised but deeply understood. I also include real-life examples and creative analogies to make learning engaging and meaningful. For AP test preparation, I focus on past exam patterns, time management, and stress-reduction techniques. The goal is more than just learning; it is building confidence. Students receive consistent support to track their progress and strengthen weaker areas. I make sure they are fully prepared for exam day. With dedication and practice, high scores become achievable. Every session is designed to guide them towards excelling in Physics.
