About Cynthia
Hi! I’m a dedicated science tutor with a deep-rooted passion for life sciences. With a Master's degree in Physiology, I specialise in explaining how the human body works—from the nervous system to metabolic pathways. My Biotechnology degree adds a modern edge, helping students master topics like genetic engineering and molecular biology with ease.
I focus on the "why" behind the science. My lessons are designed to build confidence, improve exam techniques (AQA/Edexcel/OCR), and make Biology the student's favourite subject. I am DBS-checked and committed to helping your child achieve Grade 8/9.

Academic Background:
I hold a Master's degree in Physiology, which gives me an in-depth understanding of how the human body and living systems function. This follows my Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, which provides me with a solid foundation in modern biological sciences and laboratory methodology.
What this means for my students:
For Biology Tutoring: I can explain complex physiological processes (such as the nervous system, hormones, and circulation) with extreme clarity. My biotech background also helps me guide students through the "Required Practicals" and genetic engineering modules of the GCSE syllabus.
