About Roopam
I am a patient and structured tutor who enjoys helping students understand subjects that often feel difficult at school. I completed my Master’s degree at University College London and bring many years of experience in technical roles where clear thinking, problem solving and analytical skills were essential. I have mentored learners of different ages throughout my career, and I understand how important it is to explain ideas in a way that makes sense to each student. My strength lies in breaking down complex topics into simple steps, which helps students who need clarity, calm teaching and steady guidance. I approach every lesson with a focus on confidence building. Many students come to me feeling unsure about Maths or Science, and with consistent support, they start to enjoy the subjects and improve their grades. My lessons are calm, structured and designed to help students understand concepts clearly rather than memorise them. I hold a Master’s degree from University College London and have long experience mentoring learners in logical reasoning, scientific thinking and problem solving. My background helps me connect school concepts with real examples so students understand why a method works, not just how. These lessons are suitable for KS2, KS3 and GCSE students in Maths, Physics and General Science. I support both learners who want to strengthen fundamentals and those aiming for higher grades.
