About Megan
I am passionate about biology, ecology, and environmental science, and I enjoy helping others understand and feel more confident with challenging concepts. Through my research and fieldwork experience, I developed strong communication skills and found that I genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and explaining ideas in different ways. I want to teach because I know biology can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I enjoy helping students build understanding, improve their confidence, and achieve their academic goals in a supportive learning environment.

I offer personalized biology lessons tailored to each student’s learning style, goals, and level of experience. My background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, along with experience in research and environmental fieldwork. I can help with high school and introductory university biology topics including ecology, environmental science, animal biology, conservation, and research skills. My lessons focus on building understanding and confidence rather than memorizing information, and I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I can also assist with assignments, exam preparation, study techniques, and breaking down complex concepts into manageable explanations.
