About James
I'm an incoming MSc student at King's College London looking to support myself while also gaining tutoring experience. I specialise in History, something I have a particular passion for, as well as English Literature and Geography up to A-Level standard.
I have limited tutoring experience during my time in sixth form helping younger students during supervised study sessions, and would describe my teaching style as teaching by example, first asking how the students themselves would approach a task before stepping in to show the way I personally would do it if they were struggling. I am keen to begin tutoring as I will be returning to University after some time away from education, and so as well as being able to provide a valuable service to potential clients, it would also be a good way of helping me get back into the swing of academic ways of work.
