About Wayne
Wayne is a 26-year-old professional musician who specializes in Jazz Guitar performance and education. He began learning to play the guitar at age 4, and began studying music formally at age 19. He was awarded a scholarship by and studied at Michigan State University under its world-renowned music faculty, and completed his B.A. in Jazz Studies in 2024. During his time in school, he studied guitar under Randy Napoleon and piano under Stephen Scott as well as Xavier Davis. Wayne has shared the stage with well-known artists such as Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jazzmeia Horn, and many others. Wayne currently lives in his hometown of West Palm Beach, FL, where he is an active member of the South Florida music scene.
