About Emily
I am predominantly a saxophone player, but my vast range of experience playing flute, clarinet, oboe and recorder enhances my ability to teach a wide range of woodwind instruments. My professional work as a freelance musician gives me the level of knowledge needed to pass onto students. My studies at the Royal Northern College of music also give me the background needed to become a successful instrumental teacher.

I mostly teach students on a individual basis in order for them to reach their full potential. I tailor each of my lessons to the individual students to correlate with a learning style that works best for them. Combining music reading and learning by ear is important to become a successful musician, but the main thing I want my students to get from their lessons is enjoyment!
