About Sofia
I am a professional musician (MA level) who moved to London 4 years ago. I can speak fluently Italian, English (C1) and Spanish (currently working on my German ). As a musician, I always have to travel a lot, and knowing different languages is very helpful.

As a musician, I have a lot of experience teaching, and althought I have never taught Italian as a professional, I believe the principles of teaching are always the same: structure, engagement, personalised path, progress, empathy, experience.
The lessons would be structured in different parts, covering the magic 4: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking. I believe learning a language is a bit like learning a new instrument: it takes practice and it needs some time every day. The lessons would comprehend reading suggestions, TV shows, texting, and everything that would allow the student to be exposed to the language on a daily basis.

Sofia is a colleague of mine and through watching her work and teach, I can say that she is one of the most diligent, patient, and empathetic teachers I have ever seen. The work she puts in for her students, even outside of the lesson is incredible. From transcribing pieces to making educational videos and papers, she really does 120%.
