About Shang-Wei
Versatile music and management professional with varied experience in piano tutoring, vocal coaching, and Mandarin teaching in addition to extensive knowledge of musicology, arrangement and translation (English into Chinese).
Having obtained my Master’s Degree at the University of Leeds Business and Music School, I have acquired extensive knowledge of digital marketing and big data analysis. Furthermore, my experience at Mars Spiders and as a freelance data analyst has given me expertise in cultural marketing & branding, data visualisation, cross-genre collaborative projects, and social media planning & strategy. I relish opportunities to improve and utilize my skillsets across different types of businesses and I am now open to new challenges in the foreseeable future.
Upon the completion of my Master’s Degree, my desire to learn more about digital media and coordinating with a major company allowed me to successfully secure a media & marketing assistant position at Mars Spiders. Through this diverse and varied role, my day-to-day tasks involved establishing a relationship between company brand and clients, positioning and tracking potential customers, and creating comprehensive social media platforms.
