About Oscar
I am in the final six months of my music degree at ACM Guildford I have been playing piano for 13 years and have my grade eight I also have advanced knowledge in music theory and improvisation techniques I can teach you how to read and write all styles of piano and I can show how I myself compose classical and contemporary pieces for film scores or your friends and family to marvel over. Depending on your level of playing ability I will carter to an individuals needs differently, there are fundamentals that must be learnt if you have no knowledge of playing, the more experienced players can expect me to push them to learn the classics from Chopin to Debussy, I will also give lessons on how to use different scales when improvising to be as creative as possible and push the boundaries when playing. Sight reading is an essential skill to learn and learn well, I value it as one of the most important skills one can learn as it will set you free to master any piece of music and there will be nothing that can’t be learnt with the right amount of dedication and practice.
