About Eiméar
Eiméar Crealey is a multi-faceted performer, distinguished as a Singer, Actor and Musician from Maghery, County Armagh in Northern Ireland. After realising her potential for performance at her local drama group Portadown Junior Phoenix Players, she went on to study Classical Singing (Soprano) and Piano at The University of Manchester, under the expert tutelage of acclaimed mentors Laurie Ashworth and Hazel Fanning. Whilst at University, she was nominated for many National Operatic Dramatic Association Awards, and won ‘Best Supporting Female in a Musical’ in 2018 for her portrayal of Charlotte in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music with UMMTS. In 2019, Eiméar was a contestant on RTE's The Voice of Ireland, and was mentored by Una Healy (The Saturdays), reaching the Live Knockout Stages.
Eiméar then moved to London at the age of 22 to take up an extremely competitive place at the world prestigious Royal Academy of Music London, where she studied a Masters of Performance in Musical Theatre and was a recipient of the Gareth Roberts Scholarship. Immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Royal Academy, Eiméar had the privilege of learning under the guidance of world famous tutors such as Claude-Michel Schönberg, Mary Hammond, John Caird, George Hall, Ann Marie Speed and Daniel Bowling. Here, she was mentored by the West End and Broadway’s leading writers, directors, composers and choreographers during her productions and also recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
After graduating with a distinction in her Masters, Eiméar became a member of renowned Irish Ensemble 'Celtic Angels’, under the direction of Joan Kenny. As a singer rooted in traditional Irish music, her appointment as the youngest member of the group could not have been more fitting. The Celtic Angels toured extensively across the USA in major venues and cities- from the Cerritos Centre for Performing Arts in California, the Cailloux Theatre in Texas, to the Van Wezel Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. Celtic Angels also performed in many iconic Irish venues in the USA including the Irish Cultural Centre of New England, the Irish Coffee Pub New York City, and the Irish Cultural Centre (ICC) in Boston. The Celtic Angels sailed on board Holland America’s ‘All Star Irish Cruise’, travelling across the globe to destinations such as Vancouver, Alaska and Mexico. Here they performed alongside top artists including Daniel O’Donnell, Nathan Carter, Jimmy Buckley and Declan Nerney.
In 2021, during the pandemic, Eiméar released her own debut solo album ‘A Heart at Home’ which includes an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary Irish folk songs as well as original songs and popular classics with a Celtic flair. Produced by Stephen Smyth at Loughside Studios Portaferry, the album includes well loved songs with a modern edge such as ‘Caledonia’ and ‘When You Were Sweet Sixteen’, as well as popular classics like Joni Mitchell’s ‘Both Sides Now’. She has been bringing her album to life for audiences both in Ireland and the UK, most recently with sold out concerts in the Armagh Marketplace Theatre and the London Irish Centre in Camden.
Eiméar recently toured the UK with Prestige Production’s musical Carole: The Music of Carole King, where she played the lead female role and was their Music Supervisor whilst on tour. Eiméar performed in illustrious venues across the UK, including York Opera House, Epsom Playhouse in London, Plaza Theatre in Stockport, Grand Theatre in Swansea and the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln.
Eiméar is a sought after singer and musician both in London and in Ireland, performing at all kinds of events from bars to private members clubs. She is also on the books of globally recognised companies London Piano Forte Network, Gary Parkes Music and Must Have Entertainment. Eiméar recently performed at the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity 60th Anniversary event in September 2023, on the steps of the dazzling Titanic Belfast.
Now based in London, she is steadfastly pursuing her dreams of gracing the iconic West End stages and is represented by the incredible Cowley, Knox & Guy Agency. Experience the magic of Eiméar's music as she continues to captivate audiences with her ethereal voice, compelling performances, and unwavering dedication to the art of storytelling through music.

Eiméar is passionate about teaching and strives to instil confidence in performers of all ages and of all abilities. She started teaching singing and piano at the age of fourteen, and at the age of 16, Eiméar obtained her Teaching Diploma and Licentiateship of Speech and Drama from Victoria College of Music London which she has also been teaching since. She teaches classical, folk, pop, musical theatre and Irish Traditional singing. She also teaches piano and music theory, and provides coaching for prospective music and drama entrants. Eiméar has built up a very successful group of pupils since, some of whom are now auditioning for drama schools and music colleges across the UK and Ireland.
When Covid forced Eiméar home from a USA tour with Celtic Angels, she quickly applied for a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) at University College London and graduated in 2021. She is a fully DBS checked and qualified Secondary and Primary School Music Teacher and transfers these invaluable skills to her 1:1 and group teaching lessons.
Eiméar teaches all ages, all abilities and all motivations- from tiny tots just starting to find their voices, to teenagers and young adults who want to complete ABRSM exams that will count toward their university applications, to those people who just want to sing for fun. Every one has a voice and Eiméar wants to help you!
