About Maggie
I am a postgraduate student with a first class honours degree in Music and Classics.
I have played music my whole life but the flute is my primary instrument. I am passionate about students learning to love playing the flute. I believe in teaching a high standard of technique for success in exams while developing a skill for life.
I was conductor of a college orchestra for 2 years and the music director of a recent musical. I have been on both sides, as performer and director, which has informed me of a holistic approach to teaching.

I am a practicing flautist for 10 years with experience as an orchestra conductor and theatre music director. I focus on the improvement of technique and theoretical knowledge while emphasising enjoyment and fun.
