About Ishan
I am a pianist (and a weak violinist) , and have been playing music for 15 years. I have 3 years of experience tutoring individual students. All students that I have presented for graded music exams passed with either merit or distinction.

I believe in students understanding why they play what they play. I encourage discussion and questioning, and sometimes discover new things together with my students that neither of us knew. I am confident teaching upto Grade 8/ A-level music theory.
