About Gabriel
I'm a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City with 15 years of experience working across sound, image, and everything in between. My practice spans audio/visual performance, sound design, movie scoring, studio production, special effects, painting, and collaborative projects of all kinds.
What ties it all together is a deep love for process — understanding how things are made, why certain choices resonate, and what happens when you follow a creative thread without knowing exactly where it leads. That mindset shapes how I teach. I've spent years moving between disciplines, learning new tools, and figuring out how to find my footing in unfamiliar territory, which means I know what it actually takes to learn something and make it your own.
I bring all of that into our sessions, not just the technical knowledge, but the broader perspective that comes from building a creative life across many mediums.

My lessons are built around one core idea: helping you develop your own creative voice. Rather than handing you rigid formulas, I guide you through the tools, techniques, and ways of thinking that let you explore with confidence and make intentional choices in your music.
We'll work inside Ableton Live and cover whatever serves your goals — sound design, arrangement, mixing, sampling, synthesis, workflow — but always in a way that connects back to what you want to create. I draw on 9 years of production experience to give you a solid technical foundation, then help you use that foundation as a launchpad rather than a cage.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to push past a plateau, my approach is the same: learn the principles, experiment freely, and build the self-awareness to keep growing on your own long after our sessions end.
