I had my first guitar lesson with Ben last week, and it was a fantastic experience. He had done a lot of preparation, balancing general concepts with elements specific to my experience, goals and learning style - and adapted further on the fly as the lesson went on. He was patient and encouraging without being patronising - and accommodating of things I needed to get the most out of the session. I would whole-heartedly recommend him, both to complete beginners and lapsed simple strummers who are looking to get a better understanding of the fundamentals, as well as play a wider variety of songs.
