About Joe
I graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2024 with a Bachelors Degree with Hons in performance and Composition and have had my compositions performed by orchestras and my mixes played on radio. My approach to tuition is laid back and tailored to students' needs - music is a subject that is supposed to be enjoyed, so I make sure my students are having their requirements met and learning what they are passionate about. I am 24 years old and have been teaching students of all ages for 7 years. 90% of my students have achieved distinctions in their graded guitar exams, and my music production students have gone on to produce music with tens-of-thousands of streams.

I usually teach out of my bedroom Music Studio in Longsight [though I can travel for guitar and composition lessons] and offer 30-minute and 1-hour classes where we can cover anything you'd like - learning to play songs on guitar, learning how to record and produce a track, or learning the theory behind composing. I use Studio One as my DAW for teaching, although these lessons are to learn the concepts of music production, not individual software and can be transferred to other DAWs also. Lessons are for all ages and abilities.
