About Marianne
PSYCHOLOGY
I am a MSc Applied Psychology graduate with a BSc in psychology, and I understand there is a large gap in education where a ration of too many students in a classroom/lecture hall to one teacher can make learning complicated. Experiencing this, and figuring out resources for myself at university, I was able to aid myself in my education and am looking to do that for others aswell.
PIANO (BEGINNER)
I have completed up to grade 7 in piano, grade 5 in music theory, and grade 4 in violin. I have experience of teaching beginner piano and truly have a passion for it. I am organised and love to plan lessons, making sure the student is completely involved and is learning in the most efficient way that suits them. Since I have not completed grade 8, I only teach beginner, and can guarantee that the fundamentals I will teach will provide a good musical foundation for any student.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
I have previously completed elocution lessons and exams in LAMDA, verse and prose to help with my public speaking and overall confidence. I believe it is a great tool that will benefit you in the future, for example when speaking in public, job interviews, presentations to name a few.
HISTORY
I have a great passion for history and understand the formula to doing well in writing up and critically analysing and evaluating sources in an essay. I have resources from my education that are useful and can determine a successful outcome.
