About MICHAEL
Hi, my name is Mr. Mike! I have been studying music since I was 12 years old. I started playing acoustic guitar and trombone in Jr. High. By High School I fell in love with the bass guitar and started playing in rock bands. By the time I was in college I started traveling the states playing in heavy metal bands before returning to college to study Jazz and Music Theory. I now teach music full time at my private studio in San Marcos. I currently teach Guitar, Bass, Piano, Voice, and Ukulele. When I'm not teaching lessons, I play Jazz, record my friends' bands, and compose my own music.

Michael is a very good mentor. My son loves the way he guides him from the beginning of the lesson until he get it. He is very clear, firm and patient. Michael is professional and compassionate musician.
Michael is very patient. He also takes time to explain your instrument so that you feel comfortable playing. He breaks all the parts and pieces of the music down so that you never feel rushed. You can learn at your own pace. I would highly recommend Michael to a beginner or an advanced player. He is an amazing musician on many levels!!
Mike is a very knowledgeable and super down to earth guitar & bass teacher. He can figure out most songs by ear and explains the steps to get better at playing very well - he also has a lot of wisdom about piano as well as music theory. i highly recommend to any future students.
