About Hannah
Hi, I'm Hannah! I've recently finished my A-Levels, and am currently studying Music at the University of York. In August 2022, I achieved 10 GCSEs - seven at grade 9 (A**) and three at grade 8 (A*). I am working at Grade 8 ABRSM piano standard, and have Grade 5 Music Theory with distinction (ABRSM). Over the past two years, I studied A-Level Music with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, alongside three other academic A-Levels. I have experience tutoring young people and adults of mixed ages and abilities. I have also worked collaboratively (in choir and musical theatre settings) as well as independently (solo recitals). I am passionate about Music education, as I've seen first-hand the impact it can have on a student's confidence. Playing an instrument has been proven to encourage a positive mindset and holistically improve wellbeing.

I've been playing the piano for 15 years, and have experience teaching both young people and adults. I believe music education is fundamental, and through learning to play an instrument you not only gain transferable skills, but you support your overall wellbeing. Learning to play the piano doesn't have to be boring! I can tailor the lessons to the student's interests and musical goals.
