About Emma
I have been tutoring on and off for 3-5 years and have played violin for about 18 years. I am currently at Eastern Oregon University for a Bachelors in Music. In my years here, I have participated in the Grande Ronde Symphony, Inland Northwest Orchestra, and multiple school ensembles. As a former participant in the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra (NOYO), I won the NOYO Concerto Competition in 2020, and have taken private lessons and played chamber music through the Oberlin Community Music School. I also participated in the 2018 Credo Summer Music and 2019 Northern Ohio Summer String Symphony.

Hi, my name is Emma! My goal is to help students grow and challenge themselves through music, and to find a love for music. I am confident in being able to teach beginner/intermediate violin players. It is so rewarding to see student progress and watching them work towards accomplishing their musical goals, so I can't wait to encourage more students to just have fun on violin and grow towards being a confident musicians!
