About Vittorio
Vittorio Pierno began playing the piano at the age of 7 under the guidance of Maestro Nicola Peri; at 13 he was admitted as a student at the "Luca Marenzio" Conservatory of Music in Brescia, in the class of Maestro Maurizio Zana, immediately demonstrating that he possessed a great talent which was translated, a few years later, into the "old system" diploma with full marks under the guidance of M ° Giampaolo Stuani. He has attended important Masterclasses with internationally renowned masters such as Lucia Pittau, Cyprien Katsaris, Federica Righini, John O'Conor, Riccardo Zadra, Eve Wolf, just to name a few. Participates in important musical events invited by the Italian Red Cross, Vox Aurae association, Passadori Pianos, the Municipality of Brescia and many others. In 2015 he won the Capitanio Prize at the Brescia Conservatory, which allows him to play in honor of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, in the twentieth anniversary of his death, in Piazza Loggia (BS). He has collaborated with the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed in important concert halls such as Auditorium San Barnaba (BS), Teatro San Carlino (BS), Teatro Filodrammatici (CR), Palazzo Cordellina (VI), Teatro Grande (BS) and many others. He also performs as a chamber musician with different formations, always enjoying considerable success from the public. With the masters Federica Righini and Riccardo Zadra, already known also in the field of pedagogy, Vittorio has deepened the reality of teaching, in order to transmit music at all levels and at all ages. With more than 10 years of teaching behind him, as well as 20 of study and at least another 10 of research, Vittorio has acquired specific skills and knowledge that he makes completely available to his students. He has created and creates ad hoc learning methods, obtaining magnificent results and great satisfaction even on children who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities.

A famous musician said, in an interview, that he studied a lot the writings of the greats of the past, because the more he studied, the more he felt free to express himself. I remember being struck and enlightened the first time I heard this statement. My method, today, reflects well the meaning of this sentence: every day I study, I inform myself, I read, because the more I deepen the reality of teaching, learning, technique and dynamics of musical performance, the more I feel free. and spontaneous in taking pieces of knowledge and experience in order to create a new and unique dress every time, tailor-made for my student. For years I too have looked for the secrets of perfect technique, speed, virtuosity and the like: on the internet and at the Masterclasses you can find everything and the opposite of everything. To date, after having reached the goals I had set for myself, I can say one thing with certainty: whoever claims to have found the perfect method, that is, a set of rules that are the same for everyone and effective for everyone, lies. My lessons are aimed both at those who wish to learn to play the piano from scratch, and at those who want to improve themselves, at any age according to their aspirations and needs, through a tailor-made path. I can range on any musical genre and prepare for admission exams to the Conservatory or any other exam / selection / concert. The duration of the lessons is a full hour and between one lesson and the next I always leave at least 15 minutes off, so that I can dedicate extra time to the student if needed. The first lesson is free at my home. I have the possibility to reach you and have lessons where you prefer, by telephone agreement.
