About Bo Yuan
McGill Music Bachelor degree (August 2020)
I am a certified Royal Conservatory Music teacher. I am certified to teach all the courses in the RCM curriculum such as practical piano, music theory, music harmony, music history, ear training, counterpoints, analysis and composition
I debuted in NYC Carnegie Call when l was 19 years old
My students participated in both national and international competition and won multiple awards

as a music teacher, my principle goal is to transmit my passion for music to my students. My lessons are very organized, l always plan each lesson in advance according to their personal needs and always set goals for my student such as weekly goals, months goals and many challenges. In my opinion, communication is crucial as well as the involvement of the parents. I make sure l involve all parties and at the end of my lesson, l will take a few moment to communicate with both the student and their parents in order to make sure everyone understand their task for the week.
