About Richard
I have a degree in Music Technology BA (2:1 hons), a subject which I also studied during my time in Sixth Form. I currently use both Ableton Live, and Logic Pro X, and would require my students to use software of a similar kind. In my spare time I have given vocal coaching and production lessons to various peers. I also have experience teaching students aged 11-16 and am DBS checked. With regards to my production work, I specialise in Pop, Rock, Dance, and Hip Hop production, and keep myself up to date with the latest trends in popular music. I am also an avid songwriter and would love the opportunity to show others my methodology.

My students will build musical projects with my guidance from the ground-up. I will walk them through production of a track beginning with elements such as drums or guitar, then adding bass, vocals and effects to create a stand-out piece of music. As they create music of their own, they will be teaching themselves how to use the software under my careful tuition.
