About Mark
I am a graduate of the University of Surrey "Tonmeister" course, a course which covers music performance, theory, production and recording techniques. I have worked for many years in the classical music industry both as recording engineer, producer and editor - I have also worked in film/tv sound on many broadcast productions in both Australia and the UK, including the well-known Australian show "Neighbours". I have advanced piano and violin skills and enjoy playing classical music.
Outside of my work environment, I enjoy Amateur Radio, Motorcycling and Aviation. I live in both Australia and the UK, supporting my family in the UK as much as I can.

Lessons will last between 30 and 45 minutes. I take a flexible approach to teaching, ensuring that the students interests are encouraged whilst ensuring that foundational knowledge and skills are covered effectively. This allows students to then rapidy build on this foundational knowledge and explore in depth the areas of sound and music that truly interest them.
Students will learn fundamentals of sound and music production using Digital Audio Workstation platforms. I am happy to structure lessons according to the student's current level and desire to learn.
