About Robin
Hi! I'm Robin, a 2nd year music undergrad. I have been singing from the age of seven, beginning my training at the Junior Birmingham Conservatoire. I am now part of professional choirs with whom I have recorded albums, sung for TV and radio, and performed in places like Westminster Abbey and King's College Cambridge.
I am training to be a professional opera singer though I enjoy singing a broad range of music, from Purcell to Alban Berg. I would like to pass on what I have learned, from technique to performance psychology, and helping others in their musical endeavours.

When teaching singing, I tailor all lessons to the student, allowing them to explore repertoire that interests them and widen their general musical knowledge. I like to create a comfortable environment for the student to explore their own voices and most of all enjoy what they're singing.
When teaching music, I am open to helping with all aspects, including history, theory and composition. When learning myself, I like to understand the concepts, rather than just learn them as I feel this approach is more effective, and so I take this approach when teaching students as well.
