My teaching methodology for piano focuses on five main elements: real-life examples, integrity, creativity, flexibility, and accountability. I use real-life examples and case studies to show how music connects to everyday life, making lessons more relatable and engaging. This approach helps students understand the relevance of what they’re learning. Integrity is important to me; I foster a respectful and honest environment where students feel safe to express themselves and make mistakes. I encourage creativity by allowing students to explore different musical styles and compositions, helping them develop their unique sound. Flexibility is key; I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student’s needs, ensuring they progress at their own pace. Lastly, I promote accountability by setting clear goals and regularly checking on progress, which helps students take ownership of their learning journey. Besides piano, I can also teach relevant subjects, enhancing the overall musical experience!
