About Marina
I am a student; I have given singing lessons before to younger children and adults. I recieved a distinction in all singing exams from Grade 3 to Grade 7 and have gained main roles in every production I have participated in. I have had lots of musical theatre experience, with the National Youth Music Theatre, and Sylvia Young Theatre School. I have also worked with the production of pop music, and have been to several recording studios to pursue this.

For the lesson structure, I like to start with a warm up, (I have a piano and am grade 7 level), and then ask them what they feel they need to improve on, or if there was anything they wanted to learn how to do, e.g. a vocal technique, such as a riff or vibrato. My teaching method is very simple; I think it is extremely important to listen to how the student is feeling, e.g. if he/she tells you they start to feel croaky when singing in a lower octave, I can understand what they are doing incorrectly so that they may not damage their vocal chords, and so I know how to approach future songs that I practice with them as i know their strengths and improvements.
