About Katya
I am a senior honors student at The University of Texas at Austin, receiving a BFA in Acting with two minors. I have years of experience as a professional actor on screen and stage, as well as in vocal performance. In high school, I competed in Speech and Debate and found success at national level tournaments. I have also worked on several published scripts and essays regarding theatre and education related topics. This year I competed at Miss Texas within the Miss America Organization, working with children through my self-developed, TEKS aligned school program and won thousands of dollars in scholarships through my successful essays, interviews, and vocal performances. I am open to work with kids ages 5-18 in public speaking/college interview prep, audition/monologue work, theatre tutoring, voice lessons, and English literature tutoring. I am happy to work with you and your child!

Hello! I am happy to teach students ages 5-18 lessons regarding beginner musicianship, vocal performance, vocal performance in theatre, or even prepare them for auditions! I am patient and able to match high energy students! I will always start off by asking what you and your child want out of our lessons and run a diagnostic on what we should work on - communication and goal setting is really important to me!
