About Clair
With 11 years of flute teaching experience, I have taught High School, College, and adult students, reaching around 150-200 learners. My lessons are designed to be interactive, personalised, and inspiring, combining technical skill development with creativity and musical expression.
A milestone I cherish was helping a student who had never performed before deliver a beautiful recital performance. Witnessing their growth and confidence reinforced my dedication to teaching. I aim to create an environment where students feel motivated, supported, and excited to explore their musical abilities while enjoying every step of their journey

My flute teaching methodology is designed to make learning enjoyable, practical, and inspiring. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect music theory with performance, making lessons meaningful and easy to apply. I focus on motivation, encouraging students to stay curious, confident, and passionate about their practice.
Problem-solving is an essential part of my teaching. I guide students to tackle technical and musical challenges, helping them develop skill and independence. Integrity is central to my methodology, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect for music. I maintain flexibility, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, abilities, and goals.
Besides flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory and fundamentals to provide a strong foundation. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, productive, and enjoyable, helping students grow creatively, technically, and personally.
