About Juan Diego
I am a producer musician graduated from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). I dedicate myself to songwriting and music production. I have created audio-visual material, among which is the documentary Washina Cainabi, winner of the Embrion university festival, for best music and a tourist commercial for the municipality of Puerto López (Meta) ((concealed information) / videos / 12(concealed information)6048 /). I studied piano with teacher Maria Bárbara Sampera (classical) and keyboard with maestro Oscar Acevedo (jazz). I am passionate about teaching and learning. Currently I have been teaching children for a year, although I also have good methodology, patience and high rigor to teach adults.

My methodology for learning the guitar and piano instruments adapts depending on the age and level of the person. For children, I teach with a class dynamic that always starts with a playful activity, after which I contribute the musical content with graphics, percussion instruments, boards where the student can draw, among other tools. I usually give "commercial" breaks for children to play and talk to me about what they love or what they would like to learn. For adults, I always seek to learn the repertoire that catches their attention and to achieve this, we study a technical basis in the first part of the class, after which, we apply that in the interpretation of songs. I rely on support methods such as scores, tablatures, and send videos of reaffirmation by Whatsapp for those who need to have a good quality recorded material as support.
